Rosacea

Rosacea is a form of adult acne often accompanied by redness, skin sensitivity, blood vessel formation and eye problems in addition to unsightly acne lesions. Rosacea typically develops anywhere between the ages of 30-50, although it can occasionally have an onset outside of this range.

What causes rosacea is still largely unknown. It is three times more common in women than men and primarily affects caucasians, but can affect African Americans and Hispanics also. There are now effective treatments, so don't continue to tolerate rosacea.
