How do I know which cleanser to use - 1, 2 or 3?
Most people can start with Facial Cleanser 2. If you have rosacea or sensitive skin or if you are new to glycolic acid use, start with Facial Cleanser 1. If you would like to advance to a higher level of glycolic acid, you may do so after 4-6 months of use of a lower level of glycolic acid first.
Why are there 3 versions?
There are three versions to accommodate glycolic acid tolerance level for most people. Facial Cleanser 1 contains 12% buffered glycolic acid. Facial Cleanser 2 contains 15% buffered glycolic acid. Facial Cleanser 3, only available through our website or select physician offices, contains 20% buffered glycolic acid.
Do the Wrinkle Revenge Cleansers burn?
For most people, a slight tingling sensation will occur when applied. This should subside after the cleanser is washed off. Keep in mind that the glycolic acid used in these cleansers are buffered, so they gently exfoliate the skin.
