Born To Be Mild

My dry, sensitive skin was completely out of control. I'd tried a couple of different products over the last few months but nothing was getting rid of the flakes and itching. Then I tried Born to Be Mild (BTBM). I've only been using BTBM for 4 days but it has made a tremendous difference. The flakiness is just about gone and it really eliminates the itching. Thanks Dr. Kunin for developing such a wonderful product. My skin is much happier now!

I have oily acne prone skin and have been searching for a cleanser that cleans without stripping and doesn't cause breakouts. This works beautifully. In the evening I use the Wrinkle Revenge 1 and the morning I use Born to be Mild. My skin is clearer and smoother than it has ever been and no flakes and reduced redness! My makeup even goes on easier and I use less of it.

I've tried everything else, so I figured I'd give this a try too. Right away I could tell a difference. It really seems to be helping with my adult acne. I've had fewer breakouts since I've started using this a few weeks ago, and the pimples I do have are going away much faster than usual. A few negatives: it doesn't smell good, and it makes my face burn for a few hours after I wash with it. I've solved that by washing with Cetaphil right after I wash with Born to be Mild.

I have mild Rosacea. I use the original Dermadoctor creamy cleanser I or II and am quite happy with those. I was prescribed a sulfacetamide cleanser by my derm to try. I tried this product as an alternative to the prescription, which I found very irritating. This cleanser was not appropriate for me either. That being said, it proved to be a GREAT alternative for my boyfriend. He was using a cleanser with similar active ingredients - in bar form. He used it to treat the flaking around his nose and facial breakouts around the hair follicles in his beard which is 1/2 to 1 inch long. The bar was far too drying for him. Sometimes it made his skin red and inflamed. Once, I had to use a cortisone cream to treat his cheeks. So, I gave him this product to try instead. It isn't nearly as drying or irritating. He's very happy with it - as happy as guys get about face care...and is continuing to use it as a replacement to the bar. It suds nicely too. That's nice for his beard. So, my loss turned out to be his gain.

I have rosacea and sebborrheic dermatitis. My skin was always extremely flakey and oily, and my dermatologist never once thought it was dermatitis. She just assumed it was dry skin. But I did my own research (this website, among others, is extremely helpful) and found out that I did have SD. After just a few days, I noticed a huge difference. I could actually feel my skin! Insted of layers and layers of old skin. It helped clear my skin up, too. I just really wanted to thank Dr. Kunin for making products concerning lesser known conditions that no one else seems to care about.

This product does exactly what is says it will, flakes gone!, little bumps on arm & legs - gone. Yet leaves skin moisturized & smooth. Totally non-irritating!

This cleanser really irritates my rosacea. Burns and inflames. Sorry, but I would be careful using this product if you have this condition. However, the Wrinkle Revenge 1, is nice and doesn't irritate me at all.

I've been using this as my nightly cleanser for about 6 weeks and it's cleared up the flaky skin around my nose just as effectively as dandruff shampoo did in the past. It stung the first few times I used it, but my skin's adjusted to it now--just be careful to avoid your eyelids when rinsing it off!

I have suffered from Perioral Dermatitis for the last 4 years and it seems like anything I put on my face causes a flare up. After using this cleanser for one night, I woke up to skin that was much improved. After a week of use almost all of the redness and flaking has dissapeared and no more itching! Finally, a product that actually does what it claims!

I originally bought this cleanser for my face. I have both roseacea and seborhreaa, and plenty of redness, flakes, etc. Unforunately, I could not use this on my face - it caused an uncomfortable burning sensation that went on for hours after I used it. I tried it for a couple of weeks on my face, but this feeling never went away. BUT - then I tried it on my chest, and it is working great there! I have had problems with my chest area breaking out with small pimples for years, and have tried salicylic acid washs, benzoyl peroxide from my derm, and neither worked. But this cleanser does! It feels fine on my chest, lower neck, and breast area, and it has cleared the whole area up nicely! Now I can wear low cut dresses again!
