Poetry In Lotion

Haven't been using it long but already see the difference. Used according to directions but I never had redness so began using it every night. retinol is definitely the way to go and wish I had used it years ago. Not my imagination; people have commented on how well my makeup looks. It's the same makeup but different anti-aging product. Noticeable glow. It is more expensive than some but it does have 1.0 retinol.

I have tried several anti-aging lotions and this is the only one that has actually made a visible difference in my skin. My skin has a nice glow, my wrinkles are smoothed (not completely gone, but better), and my pores (which had been really enlarged) are much less noticeable. Also, I had some age spots on my forehead and temples that are completely gone now. I only use one little pump a night for my whole face. I use it nightly now, but I would suggest only using it every other day at first because I did experience a little redness and peeling at the beginning. My only complaint is that it is a little pricey, but the bottle does seem to last a long time.

This is a wonderful product. I use it nightly with the eye product to keep my skin youthful. Not other moisturizer needed at night. With regular use my pores are smaller, skin more luminous and healthy looking. I get compliments on my skin frequently, even from my dermatologist. Wish there was more product in the container for the price.

dermadoctor has created such a lovely product in poetry in lotion. i need to share a bit of backgroud about my skin.i am 57 yrs and had been using retina ( prescription ) since 30 yrs of age, strickly as anti-aging due to over exposure to sun ( damage ) .

four years ago i had a fraxel repair procedure. within the first year i developed severe hyperpigmintation with outbreaks ( acne resembling but not acne) whenever my face exposed to any type of light: indoor,outdoor,lamp etc. even away from windows ( i apply sunblock as soon as i rise and through the day and at bedtime. must be a non absorbing and natural: zinc etc.- my skin must be densly covered at all times. before procedure i hadn't any concerns only some facial lines. so sorry i had the procedure!). over 3 thousand i ended spending on treatments for this "allergy to light". my life ( and budget has ) became severly limited.after extensive research i began using calm cool and corrected. amazing! over high cost brands this only one that worked. the only positive result from procedure was the reduction in line depth, but all was the same the following yr. after attemping other retinol products , all of which made my condition worse, i tired poetry in lotion rather believing it would cause more of a reaction etc. but i am able to use it every other day , applied very sparinginly and following directions perfectly. after several months i am beginning to notice some improvement regarding the lines and i THINK ( not sure yet! ) in a wee bit of sagging along jawline. i want to try the wrinkle revenge lift & replenish serum ( when budget permits!) but am grateful for these 2 products. thank you!

I am in my 50s and certainly spend more than my fair share of time in the sun in my teens and twenties. After two weeks of once a day use, my skin did appear tighter, although after using it for 2 months, I would not call it a miracle cream. You will definitely see a difference, however, don't expect lines to be less visible.

I really love this product. I've used skinceutical's retinol 1.0 before, but I prefer this one. It doesn't dry me out, and there is no irritation whatsoever. I have oily/combination skin, with patches of dryness (even eczema, thank you allergies), but I tolerate this just fine and it really tackles those forehead lines and makes them disappear (along with a good night's sleep). I use different products in cycles, but this is one that's a must for my medicine cabinet, when I need it.

I have been using Poetry in Lotion for 1 year. My skin had red marks at first, but that was the product working as a peel on my 49-year-old skin's age spots. Now, my skin is beautiful and the spots are gone. I use Photodynamic during the day. Love DERMAdoctor products!

I love this product because it removes my acne spots and makes my skin smooth again.

This is good stuff. The quality of my skin is so much better when I use this. It keeps monthly breakouts at bay, lightens dark spots, and just generally improves skin tone and wrinkles. And my skin has never been irritated in the slightest. It is pricy, but the bottle allows you to use only the necessary amount, with no waste. And it lasts a long time. I've been thinking of trying prescription strength retinol, but then I think, why? This is great already. How much better could that be?

I've been using this lotion for over a year now. I really like it, I see results with continued use and it is very gentle on my skin. Lines are less noticable (not as deep) on my forehead area and fine lines around my eyes have all but disappeared. Also, my skin looks smoother when I use the lotion. I would like to see the price come down, it is quite pricey and it is a product I would like to continue to use.
