Poetry In Lotion

I love this product. It smooths the texture of my skin, and since I began using it, my breakouts have virtually vanished.

I've had great results with Poetry in Lotion Intensive Retinol 1.0. It keeps my skin healthy looking without redness and flaking that I've experienced with other retinol products, even the low, low dose in the prescription a plastic surgeon gave me. I don't use it every day, just every other day. That is just right for my skin.

I noticed after a couple of weeks my skin seemed tighter and smoother. I am 44 and have spent a lot of time in the sun. People at work have even noticed and asked me what I was doing. Every time I look in the mirror I am shocked! I swear it took 10 years off my face.

I have bought this lotion 3 times now and have had pretty good results using it. I cannot use the stronger strength Retinol that dermatologist prescribe..my skin is sensitive and it makes my skin flakey and red. I am 60 years old but appear young for my age, most people guess me to be in my mid-40's..I have been blessed with good genes. I have spent a lot of time on the beach over the years and have exposed my face to a lot of sun. I have crows feet around my eyes from squinting (no sun glasses for years) and pretty deep frown lines on my forehead. This cream has lessened the degree of the lines on my forehead but they are definitely still there. I wouldn't call it a miracle cream but it has helped enough that I continue to buy it and use it daily. I feel that the cost is very high and agree that the cream doesn't last long enough. The company needs to either reduce the price of the product or package the cream in a larger container at the current price so that we don't have to buy it quite so often. More people would buy the product if it were more affordable and those of us that are buying it now would continue to buy it for years to come. At the price it is now being sold for, I for one will eventually replace the product with another more affordable product.

I purchased this at Ulta but was not happy with the cost of $75.00. I wouldn't mind paying that IF it lasted a while but it doesn't last long..........meaning it runs out fast. I only used it every morning not at night and it still ran out before a month was out. I figured, "gee, if I'm going to pay this much for this stuff, I might as well go to the dermatologist and get the prescription tube which lasts a very long time." I mean, the tube may cost me 90 dollars but it lasts and lasts with even better results. But I must say this product is the best I've ever used besides the prescription Retinol tube full strength. I'm 63 and it really made a huge difference in my skin. So if you want to purchase it, you won't be sorry but again, I'm into saving money on things that last longer than a month for a one time a day use. IF they lower the price, then I'll buy it regularly but not until they lower the cost.

This stuff is amazing. I'll never see my mid-70s again, and yet I get many compliments on my skin. Admittedly, I had a mother who was a stickler for caring for it constantly, particularly when it came to minimizing exposure to the sun. And I chose a career that keeps me out of doors. But Poetry in Lotion has handled those developing lines and keeps my skin smooth and clear. The best!!

It does work like everyone says but the cost is just too high for my taste. Gee, I can go to my dermatologist and get the real stuff and it works even better. If I'm going to pay this much, I might as well pay for the real thing. That's how I see it.

I just recently got this product at a department store and have been using it for almost 2 weeks now. I have very sensitive skin and common aging issues as well. This product does not irritate my skin but it does make my skin have a rosy pink look the day after, which is NOT a problem. I actually had someone comment on my skin today about how refreshed it looked. That just gave me affirmation that this product is true to its word! I will continue to use this product until it runs out and then I'll buy more! Thank you for creating such an awesome product even more me!

I started using this product just about a week ago. I apply it every other day like instructed (building up to daily) and I can tell you I was not expecting such noticable results in such a short time. I went to bed 40 something, with deep lines around my mouth, forehead and eyes and I woke with a 30 something face. My lines are all but gone and my skin feels soft, firm and bright. I use the eye cream twice a day and it's just as effective as the poetry in lotion. I don't know if my results are typical results, but I am really pleased with the product: it has boosted my confidence. For the record, I have sensative skin and I haven't had any problems using this product (as instructed). I would recommend it to anyone who wants to breath some youthful life into their complextion. I have tried several others, any they either did not work or caused some serious reactions and then I found this and now I can stop searching.

I love this product. I use it every night, and my skin has never felt this smooth and clear. My skin feels better now at age 33 then it ever did in my 20's or even my teens. I have sensitive skin, but this product does not bother me at all. I began using it every other night, but was easily able to start using it nightly. Great stuff.
