In The Bag: 5 Essential Beauty Products for Your Bag

Essential Beauty ProductsWhen did the everyday small purse turn into a large tote? If you are one of the lucky ones, you can get away with a bag containing the bare necessities; a wallet, cell phone and keys. But since most of us have jam-packed schedules with days spent going from one place to another, many women have seen that purse morph into a carryall stuffed to the brim with office work, lunch, a laptop, extra clothes and so much more.

One common item found in many totes is a makeup bag for touch ups on the go. While it is tempting to pack dozens of beauty products into that bag, you can cut down on the clutter by carrying just a few select necessities.

1)    SPF – Always apply SPF before heading out the door, it's your best protection against harmful rays from the sun and the fine lines they cause. Carry a backup tube in your bag for those days you spend a lot of time outdoors or work up a sweat. We suggest Ain't Misbehavin' clarifying sunscreen spf 30 PA+++ for its high SPF content that also helps mattify skin and prevent shine during your busy day.

2)    Antiperspirant Towelettes – No one wants to get stuck in a pool of sweat when they’re on the go! Make sure that you have some antiperspirant towelettes tucked in your bag such as MED e TATE sweat control towelettes. MED e TATE can even be used on the hands and feet, as well as on the face prior to your makeup to keep it in place!

3)    Translucent Powder – A compact of sheer powder is essential in your makeup tote. A quick swipe of powder can reduce shine, cover imperfections and give you a polished look in just seconds.

4)    Cheek/Lip Stain – Most of us do not have the time or room to carry a bag of color cosmetics. However, a creamy cheek and lip stain can keep you covered for when your face needs a little pick-me-up. Use this multi-tasker to add a flush to your cheeks and some life to your lips before heading into that big meeting or when meeting up for after-work happy hour.

5)    Lip Balm – Keeping lips moisturized and flake-free seems to be a 24/7 job! Carry a tube of your favorite balm to make sure your lips are always smooth and supple no matter what the day has in store for you. Use it alone or under the lip tint whenever your lips start to feel dry.

6)    Eye Pencil – Finally, for those that need to keep some colorful eye makeup on them at all times, reach for a portable eye pencil to meet your beauty needs. Tote a jumbo-sized eye pencil that can be used as both a shadow and liner for those days your eye makeup seems to disappear before the day is done.

Finally, carry these makeup essentials in a small makeup bag to make finding them easier. Look for clear bags so that you can see inside and purchase bags that can easily be wiped clean when spills occur. Add these six makeup must-haves to your makeup bag, toss them into your daily purse and face the day knowing you have the supplies to handle any beauty emergency.
