WATCH WHAT YOU EAT.
There is a direct correlation between what you put in your mouth and what sprouts up on your face. Certain foods and drinks are common rosacea triggers, especially spicy foods, hot beverages, caffeinated ones, and red wine. Keep a journal of what you eat and drink, so when your rosacea surfaces, you may be able to figure out what most aggravates your own condition.

STAY TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED.
Not an easy task in the dog days of summer, but extremely hot temperatures can make this condition even worse. Minimize the amount of time you spend in the hot weather, and stay in the air-conditioning whenever possible. And on the flip side, cold weather can prompt flare-ups too.
